Having worked with a foreign NGO in Russia, and in that capacity having worked closely with a large number of foreign-funded local organisations, I am naturally interested in the ongoing events surrounding the recently proposed amendments to NGO-related laws. However, and as many of the articles and commentaries recently posted have noted, there as been as much, if not more, heat than light shed on this legislation. Nowhere, however, have I seen or been able to find the text. I wondered therefore whether you knew of the "whereabouts" of the text of the legislation (as it currently stands), or whether you could post a request on the list asking where the text can be found.
