State Duma to form commission to investigate Beslan attack

MOSCOW. Sept 16 (Interfax) - The State Duma will form a parliamentary commission to investigate the Beslan terrorist act, State Duma Speaker Boris Gryzlov said at the second meeting of the working group on anti-terrorist laws on Thursday.

"The working group was formed on September 3 at the decision of the State Duma Council for parliamentary control," Gryzlov said.

"Group head and Chairman of the State Duma Security Committee Vladimir Vasilyev was asked to draft a resolution on the parliamentary investigation commission before a meeting of the State Duma Council on September 21," he said.
