MOSCOW INTENDS TO USE AMERICAN CONTRUCTION EXPERINECE TO PUT UP SKYSCRAPERS

MOSCOW, 11 August. /RIA Novosti correspondent/. Vladimir Resin, first deputy
Moscow mayor in the Moscow government was of the opinion that while putting up
high-rise buildings in Moscow the government should take into account the
American experience in building skyscrapers. As a member of the government
Vladimir Resin is responsible for construction and reconstruction of the city.

At a meeting on Monday Resin reported that Moscow intended to build 60
high-rise buildings by 2015. Some of them will be 50 floors high and there the
American experience "deserved the most serious attention." At the same time they
should use concrete skeletons and not metal ones like in America. The
high-ranking Moscow official is of the opinion that "they are more reliable,"
