RUSSIA TO PRIVATISE ALL FEDERAL PROPERTY?
MOSCOW, July 16. /RIA NOVOSTI/ - Russia will entirely privatise federal property by 2008, unless that property is indispensable for administrative purposes, the Ministry of Property Relations says in blueprints to be offered to the nearest Cabinet session.
The session will debate next year's privatisation schedule and a tentative plan up to 2006. The ministry calls to entirely privatise, within next year, the shares of joint-stock companies in which the government block does not exceed 25%. The turn of companies with government blocks up to 50% will come in 2005. Privatisation revenues are estimated at an annual threshold 35 billion roubles, or US$1.3 billion.
