None of the Moscow theater hostage-takers escaped - Prosecutor General's Office

MOSCOW. Nov 5 (Interfax) - None of the terrorists who took hostages at a Moscow theater managed to escape, the press service of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office announced on Tuesday.

"Investigators do not have information that any of the terrorists have survived and disappeared. Efforts to identify the terrorists' accomplices are underway," the service said.

"Investigators determined that there were 41 [hostage-takers]. All of them, 22 men and 19 women, were killed in the special operation to release the hostages. Many of them carried documents and their authenticity is being determined," the service said.
