It now seems clear that Boris Jordan has received the go-ahead from the Kremlin to buy NTV from Gazprom. I am wondering if anyone on the list can explain how this would work for an American citizen, in light of last year's changes to the media law, which, if I recall correctly, limit foreign ownership in to 30 percent. Would it involve a shell company? Changes in the media law ? Something else?
