Russian cabinet set to stay until new president's inauguration - Kremlin
Interfax

Moscow, 3 March: Head of the Russian presidential administration Sergey Sobyanin has said that the resignation of the incumbent government until the inauguration of the new Russian president on 7 May is hardly possible.

"I believe that new personnel decisions both in the presidential administration and in the government should be expected after 7 May, when the inauguration of the country's new president takes place," Sobyanin said, answering journalists' question.

"The resignation of the incumbent government before the inauguration of the president is hardly possible. What is the point of dismissing one prime minister, taking two weeks to appoint another, and then dismissing the government again on 7 May?" the head of the administration said.
