Presidential human rights council plans voluntary dissolution after March 2

MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - The Russian Presidential Council for the Promotion of Civil Institutions and Human Rights, headed by Ella Pamfilova, will voluntary dissolve after the March 2 presidential election, head of the Social Contract foundation Alexander Auzan said.

"We had a meeting yesterday. We talked with Pamfilova. We will voluntary dissolve after March 2, because it is President [Vladimir Putin] who engaged us in this activity, and we will leave with him. We will see what will be then," Auzan told a news conference at Interfax on Wednesday.
