VOLOKOLAMSK (Moscow region.) Feb 11 (Interfax) - Russian gas should be exported at market prices, and Russia's partners should understand this, said First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

"We must sell gas at market prices," Medvedev told the personnel of the Volokolamskaya compressor station on Monday.

"Some of our partners are very sensitive about this, but we all understand that gas is not easy to get. Our partners must not think it will reach them through beautiful plastic pipelines for free, and they will burn it irrespective of how costly it is," Medvedev said.
