Russia will soon join UN convention on disabled persons' rights -minister
MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - Russia will soon join the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Health and Social Development Minister Tatyana Golikova said.
"We recently referred all documents required for signing the Convention to the president," Golikova said on Wednesday at a national conference on improved social support, rehabilitation services and orthopedic assistance to citizens with disabilities.
"We expect to sign the Convention soon," the minister said.
