Thus, "The Moscow News" English-language edition (founded in 1930) will not in any way be affected by the planned decision of Moskovskiye Novosti (founded in 1980) to suspend its operations on Jan. 1, 2008, as quoted by Interfax via your mailing list, dated Dec. 17, 2007.
