Moscow, 8 November: The Moscow Federal Registration Service directorate has refused to register 1,380 NGOs because of violations of the existing legislation.

"Of the 13,014 applications submitted to the directorate from April 2006 until now, 1,380 NGOs were refused (registration) because of inconsistencies in the founding documents with regard to the requirements of the existing legislation and their inappropriate completion," the head of the Moscow Federal Registration Service directorate, Ivan Kondrat, announced.
