Dear David,

Perchance that I may be the first to bring this fact to your and your readerships notice, Google news http://news.google.com/ has started offering its print and electronic news compilation service in the Russian language http://news.google.com/news?ned=ru_ru and based upon Russian news sources.

This is historic, I suggest, since it pulls together diverse news sources that only committed observers and compilers such as yourself could previously attempt to keep track of.

Moreover it now facilitates an acid test of probity and candor as the coverage of the same news story will be able to be readily seen from multiple sources. Thus, just as it has for some time in other news markets, Google news will enable the internet user to see a large spectrum of perspectives as well as the variety in the depth of news coverage.

Good reading to us all. with my best regards,
