U.S.-Russia problems acute as never before - ambassador

MOSCOW. Oct 22 (Interfax) - Problems in U.S.-Russia relations are acute as never before, U.S. Ambassador in Moscow William Burns said at a conference entitled "Russia-U.S.: To Stable Partnership through Science and Education" at the MGIMO University on Monday.

It would be erroneous to believe that problems had moved to the background, Burns said.

A cooperation project between MGIMO and the University of Texas was presented at the conference.
