Subject: Re Paul Goble/ JRL #218

I think I am a sufficiently typical reader of JRL to feel able to express not only my own personal regret that Paul Goble's invaluable expositions of Russian newspaper and on-line articles about current developments in the former Soviet Union have now come to an end. I hope he is not irreplaceable, but I fear he may be. I'm sure that many people will want, but not perhaps have the time, to express their thanks for his contributions to our understanding of the fSU during the last few years.
