Writer Solzhenitsin still in hospital

MOSCOW. Jan 8 (Interfax) - The famous Russian writer, Nobel laureate Alexander Solzhenitsin, has been in the hospital since late December.

Solzhenitsin was taken to the Central Clinical Hospital due to high blood pressure.

"There is nothing new to add about his condition. The important thing is that the crisis is over. Although Alexander Isayevich is feeling better, he will have to stay in the hospital for some time," a representative of the Solzhenitsin foundation told Interfax on Wednesday.

Asked whether Solzhenitsin was able to work, the representative replied that he is always working.
