32% of Muscovites find new relations with NATO useful - poll

MOSCOW. May 28 (Interfax) - Almost one third of Muscovites - 32% - believe that cooperation between Russia and NATO in the framework of their new relationship will promote Russian national security, while 24% hold the opposite opinion.

In addition, 21% said it will have no impact on Russian security, and 22% were undecided.

These figures come from a poll of 500 adult Muscovites taken by the ROMIR-Gallup International public opinion center ahead of the signing of the Rome declaration on new relations between Russia and NATO, which is due on Tuesday.
