US embassy representative: Obama has great plans concerning Ukraine

“The team of US new president Barrack Obama intends to co-operate with Ukraine very closely”, declared on February, 5 John Armstrong, the deputy consul general of US embassy, who will pay an official visit to Donetsk, reports a REGNUM correspondent in Kiev.
“President Obama had been to Ukraine in 2005, where he had an opportunity to meet Ukrainian leadership. Many of his advisers had a large experience with Ukraine. Very early to come to some conclusion, about new policy, however it is possible to say that the US new president will closely co-operate with Ukraine. Ukraine is an important European state”, said John Armstrong.
