Subject: List of journalists killed in Russia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

FYI, I have done considerable work, under an easily recognisable Wikinym, of updating, revising and expanding this article.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_journalists_killed_in_Russia

I was moved by the sheer effort certain contributors have made, since 2007, to put together the basic figures. Since I was doing exactly the same and, latterly, working directly with Russia's own media monitors and receiving a little funding from Open Society Institute, I felt obliged to contribute.

It's a novel experience, and I am watching carefully to see what is added to this page (and to those for Anna POlitkovskaya and Dima Kholodov, also revised by Mr Voronov), but it does seem worthwhile.
