Russian Foreign Ministry denies CIA report on "leaks of sensitive technologies"
Interfax

Moscow, 15 January: The Russian Foreign Ministry described as unfounded a CIA report alleging that sensitive technologies are leaking from Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a communique concerning the CIA's recent public report on non-proliferation issues, presented at US Congress.

The communique, posted on the Foreign Ministry's official web site, says that the recent report does not contain any new information than that in the CIA's previous reports.

Regarding the old "concerns about leaks of sensitive technologies from Russia, all of them are absolutely unfounded and have been denied on many occasions, including during a dialogue on non-proliferation with the USA," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

It also expressed surprise about continuing attacks on Russia at a time when Russia and the US are jointly struggling against new threats, primarily international terrorism.
