The State of Space Security

| The Space Policy Institute at George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs held a workshop on Jan. 24, 2008, on "The State of Space Security." The panels of experts discussed changing perspectives on space security (from the American and the European perspectives), enhancing space situational awareness, managing space traffic, and space weapons, among other issues. CDI Director Theresa Hitchens chaired the panel on space situational awareness. Speakers included government officials, representatives from NGOs, and knowledgeable experts.
