Fiscal Year 2002 Add-Ons:
Congress's Unrequested Spending for the Pentagon

As part of its work on the Fiscal Year 2002 budget, Congress funded hundreds of military programs not included in the Bush Administration's request for the Pentagon. The following is a partial list of programs added by either the House or Senate and approved by Congress as part of the Fiscal Year 2002 Appropriations Act for which the Pentagon had not requested funding:
