            WASHINGTON PROFILE STAFF

Washington ProFile, International News and Analysis Agency is an independent, Washington, D.C.-based organization committed to providing reliable information in Russian — and most recently in Chinese as well — about American politics, business and culture. The goal is to provide unbiased news and analyses based on government and nongovernment sources, as well as commentary about America — including how Americans perceive Russia and the Former Soviet Union (FSU).

With the belief that freedom of information is fundamental, as well as an essential component of a deomcratic society, the information provided through e-mail publications and on the Internet by Washington ProFile seeks in particlar to cooperate with media outlets, especially in the FSU. News articles, analyses, commentary and interviews are provided for reprinting or broadcasting, with special emphasis on reaching regional and local media sources otherwise lacking access to sources of information. In addition, Washington ProFile cultivates relationships with government officials, nongovernmental organizations and academia.
