| Colin Robinson primarily works upon U.S. armed forces ‘transformation’ issues, wider force structure issues, and homeland security. He is also involved in peacekeeping research. He writes primarily for CDI’s Military Reform and Terrorism Projects. Robinson gained his BA in Political Science from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand in 1997, and received First Class Honours in International Relations from the same university a year later. After a short period working for the New Zealand Ministry of Defense, he moved to London to study toward a Master of Arts in War Studies degree from King’s College London as a New Zealand Government Freyburg Scholar. After graduating in 2000, he worked for the International Institute for Strategic Studies’ Russian Program for the better part of a year, before joining CDI in January 2002.
